You Can't Be Polite, It's Christmas

Today my mom and I went shopping and ended up battling our way through the hordes of people at Wal-Mart. I don't know what it is about Christmas time that makes people crazy, but it's contagious because by the end of it my mom and I were cart bumping and crawling up shelving like everybody else! I swear that my arm stretched beyond its physical capabilities today to get a box of Turtles.

When a crowd of ladies was standing around chatting and blocking the whole aisle, I said "Excuse me" a few times ad got no response. My mom then swooped our cart right through the loiterers and they scrambled to get away. Mom then looked me right in the eyes, and with her best war face she said "Nichole, you can't be polite, it's Christmas". Life lesson learned.

At one point a man sniffed my hair. I don't know what that means, but I'm going to take it as a compliment and never think about it again.

Here are a few pictures of our day. I didn't get many because I was busy being trampled or doing some trample-ing.

Candy cane cookie cutter or...
... crooked phallic cookie cutter, suitable for bachelorette parties?
These things creep me out so bad!

Tacky or Pepto Bismol Fantastic?

I think that Christmas threw up on this tree.

Hugs and poops,

Nichole

  1. I refuse to go to the stores this close to the holidays. Too stressful. :)

Unfortunately, my mom doesn't, and I went with her.
