Wonderful Wardrobe

Blouse - ModCloth
Jumper - Hempware
Brooch - La Canica
I think I'm finally getting back into the swing of things at work. I've been getting up every morning and getting dressed, even though I want to crawl back into bed and eat cake all day. For some reason nobody will pay me to sit around and eat cake... what's with that!?

Yesterday I received a brooch in the mail that I am completely in love with. I really don't want to take it off, but I don't think it's normal to shower with a brooch on. Where would I even pin it!? I'm sorry. Please, please don't envision that.

As I'm writing this, Boyfriend is 'making' supper (he put a frozen lasagna in the oven). For some reason the smoke alarm just went off and the whole house smells like burnt oven mitts. My chances of a delicious dinner may just have plummeted drastically.

I hope everyone is out there getting paid to eat cake and not gnawing on burnt oven mitts.

Hugs and poops,

Nichole

  1. we can't get paid to stay home and eat junk food? WHAT?!?! :)

I have the hardest time getting up in the mornings for work...especially with walter all snuggled up under the blankets next to me. Ugh!

    1. I feel exactly the same way! Something about a snuggly doggy makes everything else seem unimportant.

  2. I love your outfit!! And the broach is adorable :) :)

Michel made burgers for supper earlier while I was in the shower. I spent 5 hours writing a book review for school today, and he has been super awesome and did all the laundry too :). He burned the onions a bit, but they were still tasty. I hope your supper didn't really taste like oven mitts!

    1. See, that's why you married him! ha ha
He seems really great, I hope I get to meet him in person soon.
The lasagna tasted like cheesy goop, but in no fault of Boyfriend's. I blame M & M Meat Shops. I love their other stuff, but this chicken lasagna was a no go.

    2. Lol, it's true. He can be pretty awesome sometimes :)
If it makes you feel better, we just found out that our favorite frozen lasagna contained horse meat... 0_0
They have only been talking about the UK thus far on the news, but it's the same product we eat here, just re-packaged. They are saying that it contained 60-100% horse meat, apparently some supplier was selling it as beef and no one noticed. Eek. We had one in the fridge and threw it out.

    3. It's scary when your food isn't what they say it is. Makes you paranoid about everything!
