A Lesson in Common Sense - An Ad Transformed By The Nearsighted Owl

This lovely doodle is from The Nearsighted Owl, I really suggest you guys visit her site for a lesson in self esteem and common sense.

Be happy and confident with yourself (body, mind, style, ect.). You don't have to be a certain weight or have specific measurements to be beautiful. Don't let words like fat, skinny, or chubby define you. Words are only insults if you want them to be.

I've said it before, but beauty isn't confidence, confidence is beauty.

In the long run, your size only matters if it's holding you back. Do what you love and be who you love.

This message brought to you by the sappy and smart parts of my brain.

Hugs and poops,

Nichole

  2. Absolutely love this. The obsession with the amount of extra energy one stores on ones body is pathetic! So long as we're happy healthy and not hurting anyone else surely that's all that matters?

    1. Well said! When I was in school, the word 'fat' was used as an insult. We let certain words get to us, for sure, but you're right, as long as we're happy and healthy life is good!
