I used to always make beads and jewellery, but for the past few years I hadn't made the time. This past week I've gotten back into it by making myself some silly earrings. Pictured in the last photo is my first attempt to make Luna's radish earrings (from Harry Potter), but I did the coloring backwards, made them too long, and basically made them look nothing like a radish, so I'm going to redo them.
I'm really glad that I've gotten back into this hobby. I really missed it.
What do you do in your free time? Do you make and/or sell anything?
Hugs and poops,
Nichole
Those earrings are all so cute!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't really make or sell anything. Well, sometimes I make cookies or cake or other types of food, then we eat them.
that sounds like time very well spent!
DeleteHi nichole, just been reading back thru the posts ive missed, i absolutely love your outfit on your profile pic now, so colourful! These earrings are lovely, the cookies actually look edible..mm! The possibilities are endless. Ive got my crochet mojo back andhave knocked out two blankets since new year, very pleased with myself! The vintagey crochet bulbs were so kitschy I hope i remember to do some next year... x
ReplyDeleteTwo blankets!? I wish I had your mojo! I've recently started a blanket, but it's going to take me about a million years to finish it.
DeleteI'm glad you liked the bulbs! I sent you a message about guest posting, did you receive it?
My first blanket I had the forethought to use thick wool and a big hook haha! I didn't get your message but I am such a novice on blogger, its embarassing, took me a whole day to cobble together a blog header..! I'd certainly give it a go though :)
DeleteI started with 4 ply wool and a matching crochet hook :/
DeleteWhat was I thinking!?
