I will never grow up.
Well, okay, I'm getting older, obviously, but certain aspects of my personality will never mature. Yesterday
Everything had to be hidden where Harvey Cat couldn't get it, so it was pretty fun trying to find/ reach everything (I'm only 5'2"). Because everything was up so high, I didn't even notice that there was anything hidden around the house until I noticed Harvey hoarding something under the chair. He looked like a tiny Golem, all wide eyed and excited. When I took his precious treasure away he was poisoned with me. Apparently the little fart is way more clever than Boyfriend gave him credit for.
I think it's important to have fun and not give up on things that make you laugh as you grow up. I'm really lucky to have a partner who indulges these silly things.
What kind of traditions do you guys still keep up on?
Hugs and poops,
Nichole
Awww that is cute & fun! I would have loved to have treats hidden around the house :)
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to hint around for next year! ha ha
DeleteOMG......... I am dying. That is so sweet!!!!!! Didn't I teach that boy great things?! :D
ReplyDeletelol
I am also very touched that I recognize some of the items on your shelf, the ninja turtle bank from his childhood, as well as a few touches that were gifts from me ;).
Happy Easter you guys :D
(ps tell him to check his email)
Our shelf of favorites is one of the best parts of our house :)
DeleteThanks for adding to it!
I am so jealous! I totally wanted to do an Easter egg hunt, but we're both trying to eat less junk so I decided not to. I tried to think of healthy things to hide, but apples and oranges and grapes just didn't seem as fun.
ReplyDeleteEat less junk?
DeleteYou know that junk is delicious, right? :)
Is that Starry Night with a cat?
DeleteIt is!

DeleteI love it!
DeleteIt goes on sale sometimes!
We didn't eat any chocolate egg this year, because in two days we are going to Rome and we want to eat pasta, pizza, tiramisu and other things (maybe some icecream too). But I love the egg hunting and showing my not-so-inner child :)
ReplyDeletePS: We went shopping on Saturday and here we have the same problem with people madness at the supermarket, we have holidays on Friday and Monday; I feel better now, knowing that it happens everywhere xD
How exciting! Have a great time and eat lots of yummy things!
DeleteI guess crazy shoppers live everywhere! ha ha :)
