Well, hello and good day to everyone out there!
Here are the highlights from my weekend (also known as the moments I actually remember right now):
- I cleaned a garage. Yes, that's right, I actually helped make something more organized! My bestie and her fiance are moving away in a couple of weeks, so I helped them organize their garage. I basically just stood in one spot until someone told me to do something, and then they gave me ice cream.
- I made muffins for a friend at work. Her momma is fighting cancer right now, so I thought a yummy surprise would be a welcome thing on a Monday morning.
- I got my elliptical training machine! Putting it together was a workout in itself, but I'm actually looking forward to using this sweat machine (later on, someone will probably need to remind me that I felt this way).
It's Monday! Let's kick the crap out of this week and make it a good one!
Hugs and poops,
Nichole
I love that picture of your cat!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteWhat happened to your blog? I miss it :)
Nevermind! I found it! I thought it was gone all this time!
DeleteOh god, lol! That elliptical is super familiar!! Is it made by Body Break? We had the exact same one!!! I was too heavy for it, so it was pretty squeaky... but I gave it to a friend when we moved here and she seems to like it. She's actually heavier than me, so maybe I was just paranoid about the squeaking. I do miss the elliptical, some day I shall use one again.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday :)
The brand name is Cardio Style, does that ring a bell?
DeleteIt was on sale at Canadian tire, so I snapped it up.
I'm really liking it so far! Happy monday to you too!
You are the sweetest girl ever.
ReplyDeleteYay for the elliptical! It will be tough using it at first. I haven't gotten in to the habit of using mine every day yet. The first couple of times I used it, I jogged for 10 straight minutes and I felt like I could die after haha. But after the initial nausea wears off and you get plenty of water in you, you will feel pretty good. And after awhile, 10 minutes is nothing and you don't feel sick anymore. The exercise has helped me manage my anxiety by burning off all the negative energy I build up inside. Happy jogging!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement Hannah!
DeleteWe can totally do this if we keep at it. I did twenty-five minutes today and felt like I was going to melt into a puddle of pain. haha
Wow, that's awesome! I haven't gotten up that high yet. I'm going to have to catch up! ;)
